I’d be very sad if Coupet left. I always liked the guy, and you can’t deny he’s a world class goalkeeper. Seeing him play in some other team would be similar to seeing your ex-girlfriend who you loved dating somebody else, in other words – painful. On the other hand, I guess he won’t play for more than two years at his best, and Lyon don’t have the luxury of waiting for two years to find a good enough replacement. But what do I know, I guess there is more to that than we know. And, Inara, that boy Lloris better be good!

Fixtures released today. Matchday 4 the derby, we get revenge on december 12 against marseille. Our schedule isn’t that tough around the time we will be competing in the CL.

We’re now well into the transfer games, with all the rumors, gossip, misinformation and mind games… Last example: whilst pretty much everyone already sees Coupet in Tottenham, Lyon has officially and categorically denied any request for a transfer from the Spurs.
But apparently JMA hinted he might release some news after the Cup final, so let’s see..

Patrick Muller has left Lyon without permission to join the Switzerland NT. YAY!!!! Go Pat!

And yes, the moment Hugo signs, expect a very excited post. He’s the best keeper we could get.

That being said, I will miss Coupet though.

Inara, I guess you’ve heard that Coupet will probably leave for Tottenham (It’s more than a rumor). Your fantasy of seeing Lloris in a Lyon shirt may just happen soon.
