"I would have voted for "Toul" because even though people talk less about him, he does an extraordinary job. He holds up the team alone. All I have to do is attack, but he defends and he attacks. I guess no vindication for Alou Diarra (I was cheering for him). After an embarrassing season last year at Lyon (I was sad to see him go), he literally rebounded from that and had or is having one damn good season with Bordeaux. You may see Wendel and Cavenaghi grabbing all attention, but Diarra is the one doing the dirty work. I was stunned to not see him as one of the POY nominees and he doesn't even make it into the XI!!!
