orlondow, admit it… you leave in the minutes BEFORE the game ends… either that or you sprint like hell because even from section K i’ve never got to gerland metro before the parvis is at least half full… with JJ wannasauts no doubt!

anyway, the 30€ offer is on olweb right now, for the last unnumbered seats in C&D (BGland) but the site is about to blow…

jorg, lyon IS a great place, and we’re interested in seeing if gers fans are as nice to have in town as hoops fans who were right gentlemen. directions to the stadium? start at the smoking dog, and after a couple there ask for the st. james… you’ll be in the right direction so just carry on 4 miles from there at the pace that suits.

I don’t really agree with you guignol, if you walk out of the stadium in the minutes following the end of the game the Gerland station is very approachable, even if it doesn’t look so from the outside. I personnaly never had to wait in line more than 5 minutes, and you get a chance to grab a seat.

well, there’s an announcement LAST MINUTE ALL SEATS 30€ on the site right now (30/08/07’s the create date, not the edit date) but that may not be for online and it’s probably too late anyway… in the buy online section the match is SOLD OUT. and anyway online sales were limited to french and swiss residents.

if you DO have seats, pay heed to storm and take the metro. on the way out don’t even try gerland station, walk to debourg (next stop), faster than waiting in line. they only fill half the train at gerland so you even might get to sit down…

in fact, don’t even go all the way to gerland on the way in; get off at debourg and have your kebab at the place right outside the station: better, cheaper and beer colder than from the “roulottes” around the stadium.

The website has just stopped selling the Rangers tickets (there were still some yesterday) but keep checking back because they often put back a few last tickets on the website.

If people are coming to the match who don’t know Lyon its best to take the metro as around Gerland can be difficult to park. The metro works really well because Stadt Gerland is on a terminus station. After the match all the metro entrances bar one are closed and there is always an orderly(ish) queue onto the trains via the one open entrance.

All have been said… except that you also can own the tickets on lyonnaises radio. You just have to call and try (Radio Scoop, Espace, Hit & Sport, NRJ Lyon)
