am I even surprised… we lose 2 points against Grenoble. That’s just so typical of Lyon. I would have bet that before the game.
Ah, definitely, we lack concentration on those “small” games which become the important games at the emd of a season.

Grenoble is the worst team in the history of the championship, and we can’t beat them

What’s more embarrassing is Auxerre have a chance to top the table at the end of day.

John, I am not in Lyon right now as you can notice from the flag, but here are some infos about how to get tickets : Eiffer buy them online on OLweb, or go to the ticket office in front of Gerland (you can also buy all your OL goodies just next to the ticket office).
My advice is tak some seat in the North or South ground. North is usually the season ticket holders, and the stand were all action is (singing, jumping,…etc). But the South stand is really nice as well for that. I actually prefer the South stand, as it is lively and you can see the North Stand very well.
But don’t seat in JB. It is like going in a cemetery….Posted from

John – just go to Gerland a few days before and you shouldn’t have a problem. Plus, it adds to the anticipation!

John. You didn’t choose an easy game. Rennes is kind of our “bete noire”. So it won’t be an easy victory! But that’s why we are supporters, to push the team. And I am sure your presence is going to motivate the players!

These days, every team is our bete noire.

Inara : Kind of true. But Rennes really is the team along with Lille who often beats us heavily in recent past.
By the way, it is Half Time in auxerre, and they are top of Ligue 1 for the moment with a 1-0 lead. Great delivery free kick from Pedretti for Coulibaly (great header). Lyon’s past players make a lot of good to there teams (Diarra in Bordeaux, Pedretti in Auxerre)Posted from

Thanks POL and Will.
POL: Is there any problem in buying tickets for the North or South sections right before the match? I’ll probably make it into Lyon in the afternoon.

John : Hmmm… I’m not too sure. Hopefully you will have some seats left, but I am not an expert on last minute buying. I hope someone else can inform you.
Otherwise, Auxerre made it. I am kind of gald, because they only had 5 points after 6 games, and lots of people were saying they would fight to stay up. 8 days later, they are top of L1. That’s really great to see, especially since they played some very nice football recently.
I hope this will wake our team up… and the coming games in L1 are not that easy!

Congrats to Auxerre! We suck and don’t deserve to be top 3 at the moment.
