If one link doesn’t work, try another. For a full list of various streams (including for media player and TVants), click here or here. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you find a working link, post it in the comments.
Additionally, UEFA (via Setanta/FSC) is also selling the stream on their website, for $9.95. You can also watch this game on delayed broadcast on Thursday at 5PM on FSC.
If you prefer to follow commentary, I recommend either L’Equipe’s or Football365.fr’s liveblog. They’re both in French (L’Equipe’s offers free audio commentary), but they’re both pretty easy to understand. If you want something that is a little more Lyon-biased, an even better option is the liveblog on OL’s official website, where they also offer free audio commentary.

The team played quite well, despite having a hard time getting the ball in the net (though one was no given). Toulalan did look good in the back and was quite impressed. Should he stay there…no if he doesn’t have to. But in relief he did quite well.
Was there a little bit of dirty play? Yes. Did the official get a little too happy with the cards? Yes. I mean, there were a few too many. Still, they wanted to shut down Lisandro and, for the most part, they did.
But still, Fiorentina learned something today…there is more to Lyon than Lisandro Lopez…they actually have a team. While they might have shut him down, that just opened up players like Bastos (the short time he was in there) and others.
Frey kept Fiorentina in there, but they just couldn’t hang on.

your right Dave. Fior found out that theres more to Lyon then Gomis and Lisandro.
….i feel the game changed slightly in our favor more ( there was the gilardino red card ) when Delgado came on. They didnt have an answer for him and his hard working ways. its good to have that kind of depth.
…..wish we had that for the CB department

X Stanley:at least we saw the same game….Lyon it’s a great time in europe and we are happy to be able to face them without fear.Govou,Lisandro Lopez,Cris and the rest are all great players, but 11 vs 11 we were able to counter-attack every time…when Gilardino was sent off, well…it felt like it was just a matter of time before the goal…anyhow you should agree with me that Frey it’s way better than Lloris and Mandanda together..Toulalan played really well as a defender and Cissokho gave us problems on our right..Lisandro Lopez it’s more present on the box,but Benzema was totally another planet..Nice and loud crowd at l’Estade de Gerlan…hope we’ll have a vendetta in Firenze..good luck to the real Lyonnaise supporters!

Thanks Enrico, and yes, though Lloris is a great goalkeeper with a bright future, Frey is the best one and should be playing for France

We should leave the discussion about who should play for France after Domenech has been sacked. It’s just pointless otherwise.

I agree about Frey. I like Lloris and he can pull off some unbelievable saves – but for overall Frey is more stable and consistent. Shame about Domenech..

And this is what we are gonna miss from Benzema.. Lisandro may always give his 200%, tackle, and run til he explodes… But when it comes to creating magic in big matches, NO1 is better than Benzema. He has that genious in him that almost always shows in important matches. In CL we’re gonna miss Benzema, but our team is so much stronger now, and i think Lisandro works harder for his team

I dont know about you guys but what I saw from our team wasnt impressive. We were very lucky today not to concede an early goal when fiorentina was the better team and couldnt create many chances even playing with one man more. Yeah, after the goal we were getting the chances but mostly from counterattacks and errors from fior defence.
I just dont think that Puel is the right manPosted from

Flash – Puel has brought the team along well so far this season, and surprised me so far. It’s pretty hard for any team to break down a Fiorentina side defending with 10 men behind the ball!

We were also getting a bit stressed at the end. We needed a goal, and they were defending with all their players

Have Fiorentina fans always been so melodramatic as they appear on their blog? Jesus christ! How can they curse the french when they was saved from humiliation by one (Frey). And how can they complain about Lyon players falling when they played like animals? And should a team from Seria A really complain about diving? Really? God damn!

Sam: I cant remember one good match this season exept the first anderlecht game

except the 2-2 draw at Le-mans we looked good in all games, perhaps your definition of “good match” is scoring 5 goals, but its hard to complain about the the way the team is playing so far this season

Dror: Its about the way they are playing. They are not nearly as good as they were 3-4 years ago, maybe because the new players need a little time to addapt to the Lyon playing style. We will see how this team is when they face stronger opponents

Against stronger opposition we will be fierce on the counter attack. That is the plan of Puel by buying the players he has. One thing they all got? SPEED! And if any1 here remember the way we played last season, u should NOT complain! We have improved drastically in our possesion play and moving, and we will continiue to do so. We sucked last year, the team this year has HUGE potential!

Last year’s Lyon wouldn’t have scored a goal against that Fiorentina defense except from a Juninho freekick. Gomis was non-existant from the excellent marking, Benzema would’ve been the same. This years Lyon is showing a lot more patience switching from 1 side to the other. Delgado was dangerous down that right flank, imagine what Bastos could’ve done had he played 90. If anything, the red card made it even harder for Lyon to score as Fior started playing for the draw.
