UEFA Slaps Lyon’s Wrist
By: Inara | March 20th, 2008
Remember when a Lyon fan “attacked” Cristiano Ronaldo with a laser beam during the Champions League knockout rounds?
At the time, the UEFA suits didn’t think it was such a big deal, though after a month of “deliberation,” they’ve decided that shining a laser on a player is an “incident of an unsporting nature.”
UEFA’s way to combat this? By fining Lyon €3,200, the maximum amount UEFA can impose without the possibility of a club appealing (because if Lyon appealed, they’d win).
Shit. Aulas might have to sell Karim Benzema to pay off that debt.

3,200? haha, I noticed a bunch of other clubs had fees like that. Aulas wipes his ass with more money than that.

Give me a break 3200$ because of a laser pointer shinning on him. Uefa is just crazy sometimes.
