i agree, That Picture with Ben Arfa and the Trophy says it all :

” I was left on the bench and didnt do anything to win this trophy ”

    Sadness.

Trade you Tiago for Grosso, seriously. He’s my #1 wanted target this summer.

I now realize that Perrin, altought he do many mistakes, do very good job in Lyon. He won 4 trophies – Peace Cup, Super Cup, French Cup and Ligue 1 – that is better than both Le Guen and Houllier who won 2 trophies. Soo Perrin deserve another chance and I am sure that he will improve himsely and play style of Lyon. And we will keep Ben Arfa, Perrin will play him more next season, that’s for sure.

    Sidney Govou…
This is what I was afraid of. Part of me wanted Lyon to lose yesterday because I dont want Perrin getting credit for what the players in the end, accomplished despite him. PSG were the better team yesterday. They hit the crossbar twice and had a goal pulled back for offsides. They thoroughly dominated OL the whole game. But now because of a single inpired play between benzema, keita and govou, Lyon won the game.

Perrin doesn’t deserve another chance. He will NEVER get OL into the semi’s of the Champions League, nevermind winning it. His tactics are terrible and he will be responsible for alienating OL’s most talented player, Hatem Ben Arfa.

    Lyon don’t need him.

I think the Perrin case is very difficult.
Aulas took him because of his cup ability (Troyes in D2 and Sochaux) and he did just that.

Many fans wanted to see a 442 in Lyon at the begining of the season, and you can’t say he didn’t try to do so. But after Nou Camp he was scolded nastily and “had to” use 433.

As for the HBA issue, I don’t think Perrin is the only responsible. It is obvious that many players dislike Hatem. So HBA must have his part of responsibility, despite being without any doubt the most talented player (technically) in the team.

I think Perrin will go, because Aulas wants him to go. Still, I think many fans have been too harsh on Perrin who had a huge injury crisis at first and then player relationship issues (Santos, Fred, Hatem,…). Of course the coach has his part of responsibility in the atmosphere but the players have as well.

As for the CL, we lost against Manchester (strongest team in Europe this year) and only because Tevez equalized in the last minutes in Gerland.

The only thing that really pissed me off this year is the crappy football Lyon played in the last 2 months. And I think it is more due to the players complacency than Perrin IMO.

So who will be our next manager?

Grant left Chelsea…he’d be good I like him (not chelsea). So long as we look for a quality manager I’ll be happy. As for Perrin, he didn’t do bad…but really as Inara has been saying all year I think we had a stronger squad then any year before this, and the only reason we have a double is due to the players being brilliant at times…(and lucky!) We would have steamrollered over PSG had we used the evolving 451. It’s what we’re good at. But if the benz fred partnership is working so good I guess it doesn’t hurt to try it in a cup final, seeing as that’s usually for the non-starters to be called up.

well Lefutur, Its a known fact that players love playing for Lyon. Look at Crosas – when we aquired him from barcelona, all he did was express how much he wanted to go back and his love fore spain. Now-a-days he’s expressed how much he wants to play for Lyon in the future and his love for the City ( look at the way he celebrated the winning of the league about a week ago ). So yea, Delgado must be in the same situation, a player who loves playing for the Club.

As far as Rougebleu goes about the Grant Suggestion…. no !, i dont want him anywhere near my team. Chelsea got as far as they did in the champions league and premiership in SPITE of him ( Sound familiar ? ). Also givien the oppurtunity to win 3 titles ( League Cup, Premiership title, Champions League ) he crumbled and lost them all. No Thank You.

Ronald: That’s very harsh on Grant. If Terry hadn’t slipped over, he would of won the Champions League and Grant would have been a hero. It’s a crazy football world we’re living in, Grant did very very well at Chelsea and restabilised them in a precarious period, so I think he could do a good job at Lyon for sure.

hey guys! Congratulations, you have conquered another title!!!. I am from San Francisco, California. I just have one question for whoever can answer it. Did Cesar Delgado play this season, did he score goals?. We do not get any coverage of the French league here so I have no idea of what is going on with him. One again CINGRATULATIONS!!!
