Are you made for Lyon?

Is this the club for you?

~~~~~~~~~~~
There’s an only word you know: victory, victory, victory !
You’re on the winner’s side. You want the team which proposes the best play quality in France to WIN. You like domination and you’re not afraid of political fights or dirty lobbying to establish it. You love the Premier League or the Calcio because these are championships for competitors, and you want a competitive team, not a team that considers a 0-0 draw as a “good result”. When you achieve something, your first wish is to achieve something other, and if you lose it can only be an accident. You never lose twice.
During so many years you were just an outsider, now you’re finally the BOSS and you enjoy it. A pure success-story based on cleverness and work. You have deserved great and top-class players. You like money because you know it’s the only mean of progress. All of this is frowned upon in France.
You are quite reserved, even in a stadium, and hard-working, and maybe you seem cold to other people, other fans, especially Southern soccer fans, but deep inside yourself is a real passion. You don’t care about misleading people about your image. The most important is your self-pride. And you have good reasons to love your city, not just soccer. Your team is alike. Very united and a good frame of mind. No stars, no divas, but a group. A real entrepreneurship !
In a single word, you’re misunderstood, but you don’t care since you are the winner…
OLWelcome, Olympique Lyonnais fan.
* French Champion (6): 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
* French Cup (3): 1964, 1967, 1973
* French League Cup (1): 2001
* Trophée des Champions (6): 1973, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
* Coupe Gambardella (2): 1971, 1994, 1997
* UEFA Intertoto Cup (1): 1997
Things to know:
- Don’t say “Chi non salta…” but “Qui ne saute pas n’est pas Lyonnais !”
- Jean-Michel Aulas. Only a Lyonnais can love him. A fantastic manager, and a creep. You must be a creep to succeed.
- Never show your passion but in the derby. You HATE Saint-Etienne. The “vertmine” will ever stay a Lyon’s suburb.
A BigSoccer.com poster, Catel, came up with a series of posts to determine what French club you’re made for (he’s still working on them, but so far he’s done Marseille, Lyon, Nantes, Lille, Monaco, St. Etienne, PSG, Auxerre, and Lens…check them out here). With his permission, I’m posting his “image” of Lyon.
    Well, I don’t hate Saint-Etienne, but I rather don’t like Marseille.
    Mudingayi is interesting, Bodmer as well, i like both. But, the both dont have a chance of starting unless people are let go, so weighing up the options id prefer to keep Diarra over Mudingayi, and sign Bodmer because we need a player like him for Tiago’s alternate.
    Same. It’s stupid to let Diarra go for Mudingayi. I asked Chris about him, and he said that Mudingayi tends to disappear during games.
    We do not need that when we play with only one DM.
    Don’t forget those 14 yellow cards in 28 Serie A games :)
    Honestly, he’s considered fairly raw in the mold of Sissoko but he’s already 25/26 and he rarely plays for the Belgian NT. Not exactly a star.
