I can’t believe it… I hope Lyon, now that they’re back to where they belong, do not fall prey to hubris and self-satisfaction…

L’OL @ that.

Megame: I doubt it will be like that. OL have only one point on Bordeaux, and the tables can change at any moment. The club is still humbled from their failures from last year and are keeping those lessons close to heart, at least so far.

Still Inara, the first half of the season “should” be ours. There’s a good chance that our first games against Marseille and Bordeaux will turn in our favor.
Now my big question is, who will qualify for the CL and the UEFA? If Marseille or Bordeaux have no more European cup to play for (unlikely for Lyon now), they could take the advantage in february/march. But if all 3 are still in Europe, I am very optmistic, especially the players seem to get on.
And for once, I will say that I like Puel’s current style of play.

The season is 38 matches old. Last season Bordeaux weren’t even in top 3 when they lost 3-0 to Toulouse. They came back from there to win the league. There is a long way to go. Rennes, Monaco, PSG, Montpellier etc have talented squads but not enough to sustain a strong form for whole season. Marseille will sure;y finish in top 3 at the very least.

I can’t believe people actually get payed to write these crappy articles i.e., the one on Pjanic.

Pjanic for 5 million. Oh please.
The Benzema article is pure bull as well, none of that ever happened.
Has anyone paid attention to the CFA’s this year. They are on a hot streak it seems with Lacazette, Tie Bi and Yoann Cort all playing extremely well, and with Tafer, Grenier, Gonalons and Seguin getting calls up almost routinely, it looks like Puel is starting to utilize his young players which I like. Problem is, when the best academy players get called up, that often leave the CFA team bare.

CFA bare… Not really. This year, OL has created a “Pro2″ group, which is led by Genesio and Sonny Anderson and is like the antichamber of the regular pro team. In other words, it’s to be considered as a “super CFA team” or an “A’ team” training next to the A team, so that the promising young blood (the 19 more talented players from the previous CFA group, among which Tafer, Kolo, Grenier, Pied, Seguin and Gonalons) get prepared for first team exposure. They can either play with the CFA or be called with the A team… Which is now happening, both by principle (Puel) and by necessity(injury pandemic…).

Inara, here is an interview from Lloris on Yahoo. I just think you will love the picture (he is one of your Lyon lovers), so I share it with you.
