Foto: Karim Benzema seen with a Murse!

By: Inara | March 6th, 2008

benzemamursesmall.jpgOH NOES, fashion disaster!

Has Karim Benzema been spending too much time with Sidney Govou and not enough time with Anthony Reveillere, who is certainly one of Lyon’s better dressed players? Or has Benzema been propelled into intense overreaction after seeing the non-fashion of Jeremy Toulalan?

Or is this the sign of a more devious plot? Is Sir Fergie not happy with his 1987 vintage of Bordeaux wine and is now trying to maneuver innocent little Karim into the evil clutches of our least favorite greaseball?

Click photo on the left to examine in frightening detail. If action isn’t taken quickly, he might become like this.

I’m in denial actually. Better to focus today on the inane because what’s left is hella depressing.

LOL @ Ronald. Benz can carry anything as long as he scores a hat trick against Blanc’s Bordeaux.

Haha, that’s hilarious, Ronald. Actually, I didn’t notice it at first, but after reading your comment, I went back and read Jao’s, and then I cracked up. I’ve been pretty slow today.

For the record, I always encourage the sharing of dirty jokes on this blog. :)

What does everyone think about L’equipe and other websites bashing League 1 and Lyon?

Minal, I plan to have a post on that tomorrow. But basically, on Lyon’s website, they have an official press release criticizing the media for overly criticizing them.

Lefutur, I was saying that I encourage people to share them. Nothing like spicing up French football!

seeing men carrying “sacoches” is a bit of a shock when you arrive in france, but it’s common, and there’s nothing fruity about it.

basically men have a lot more to carry around than in the states. more keys usually, and with the big keys for old fashioned doors these can represent a considerable handful. driving licenses are bigger, you need to keep car registration with you and not in the car, a separate ID card or passport(DL isn’t enough) etc…
