Cousin IS a joke, but his abilities are suited to Rangers playing style. He will bring down longballs and he can usually get his head on to crosses and freekicks, and thats all he has to do. His miss against Barca at Ibrox sums up his ability, he is crap. I guess I didnt make that clear, but then again, whens the last time there was a player from Gabon in the CL?

Corey, I normally agree with you on player assessments, but Cousin is a joke. I remember him at Lens and remember thinking that this guy is going to end up in Qatar one day.

Darcehville is pretty lacking, but he did have a high scoring year in 01 or 02. His presence wont be a big loss though. Novo and Cousin would be a handful, but I doubt both will play, Cousin will handle the long balls Rangers pump to him, Novo will probably be a late sub.

I have to agree about Darcheville. Obviously, Walter Smith knows a little something I don’t, but I’ve never really rated Darcheville. When he’s not offside, he’s wasting good balls in. I’m a big fan of Nacho Novo, not only because he has the best name in professional sport, but he’s more talented and more creative.

Darcheville is a joke. When he was on Bordeaux I asked myself why the fuck anyone would want him. He has no skills whatsoever, he likes to just run straight into the defense and shoot the ball directly to the goalkeeper.

What are your score predictions for Ibrox lads?
Should be a good game, I think maybe Lyon have the edge, but we are strong at home, the injury to Darcheville was a blow, but you have injuries of your own as well.

I’ve just seen a local paper headline saying that Coupet will not be going to Glasgow but don’t know if its offical (there’s nothing on the website)
