I want Clerc back now now now!
I think Lloris needs to take better care of himself instead of working hard all the time! Can he not just take medication or will that affect his play?

(And if it makes you feel any better, Gourcuff is out for a bit.)

It sucks seeing, at least, one injured Lyon-player every game. I wonder, is this normal in all teams? But somehow I feel comfortable knowing they will come back in a better version. Maybe because JMA reminds me so darn much of Dr. Kelso in Scrubs. Allez Lyon!

You're absolutely right, Jo. If any team can win the title with so many players injured, it'd be Lyon. It's funny, but I was reading how Le Havre's coach was saying that Bordeaux was a better team than Lyon, and Melvut Erding saying that Lyon aren't that impressive anymore, and then I realized that we have never unleashed our full team anywhere, in the league and in Europe. So if we are doing this well with an entire infirmary full of players, I can't begin to imagine what it would be like if we had a healthy squad that played week in and week out with each other.

Funny your title Inara, I've write on my blog yesterday that we could probably win the Ligue 1 title with our FC Lyon Hospital.
I believe so.

Well, Reveillere did want Clerc's spot and playing time, so be careful what you wish for. Who would have thought Grosso's defense would be so crucial to this team. Feels like the Twilight Zone. They should try Makoun at LB.

I could survive the other injuries, but when Grosso was subbed out yesterday, my heart literally stopped, and pictures of Kallstrom as LB kept going through my mind (sadly, the other two options for LB, Boumsong and Mensah, would not be able to fill in, not that you'd want them to).

Gassama played finally, so he may be playing at right back if Rev covers for Grosso at left back. I say with so many injuries why not use some academy kids, its not like you have better options.

I have a great idea for a Lyon board game, I want to pitch it to Aulas one day: We take an anotomical figure of John Mensah, and the object of the game will be to try to guess what part of his body hasn't been injured during his football career. This guy is literally mad of glass.
Well, at least no body will be complaining about lack of playing time with all these injuries. I feel really bad about Pjanic; really want to see him play. The injury crisis isn't really that bad. Only five long-term injuries and two of those players- Pjanic and Govou- are kind of expendable. The only thing that hurts is our defensive players out: Clerc, Bodmer, and Mensah.
