Sorry, I should have clarified - I saw the locker room stuff on OLTV. I’ll post that once I find a download link. But until I do:

Oh, they hand out baby trophies to the players.
And congratulations of course.Posted from

Ha! Crosas is going wild - looks like the happiest man out there, seems to be more of a part of the squad than poor ol Hatem. Maybe he’s not recovered from the Squillaci bust up?

It is interesting to see that Hatem’s team”mates” are not trying to include him. I do more and more believe that Hatem brings a shitty atmosphere in the team. Maybe it’s for the best if he leaves.

Squillaci, Clerc, Boumsong, Ben Arfa, Toulalan, Benzema, Govou, and of course Coupet make the provisional squad. I think it’s safe to say they all will make the squad with Boumsong being the only ?

What a night. Fantastic. Ben Arfa is not popular among the players. For all his amazing talent he’s done a number of things to cause problems with his team mates. It’s tragic because he has sooo much to offer, but in terms of maturity he has lots to learn.

After seeing B. Arfa’s expressions last night, that rumored swap for Nasri that was mentioned a while ago sounds pretty darned good right about now! Too bad Nasri wants to leave France. Shame, Karim might have even stayed around longer if he had his BFF on the team.
And Pride of Lyon is right: B. Arfa might do more harm then good. His attitude is downright crappy. Even if he is unhappy and leaving, he should still be rejoicing with his teamates instead of sulking like a spoiled child. I don’t know that Perrin should be punished for benching him. Who knows what his attitude is in the lockeroom or on the practice field. Although I am upset that Fred wasn’t treated in similar fashion. Fred should’ve been made to carry Benzema’s luggage around. Who knows, maybe they were trying to up his sale price for this summer.Posted from

I am just convinced that the only person who is even slightly interested in making Ben Arfa feel better is Bodmer.

Yeah, I noticed that too, Jennifer. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but he does seem a bit…left out, I guess.
On OLTV, they showed clips of the players on the bus returning home (I’ll try to post that download link when I find it), and while Grosso was serenading the entire team, Ben Arfa was just sitting there.
My heart is breaking for him. It’s a shame things turned out this way for my favorite OL player after Toulalan.

congrats to the best team in France. 7 years in a row.
I really cant see any other team mounting a very serious challenge against Lyon. Lyons got the money and plenty of talented youngsters that will keep them strong for years to come.

Im sorry.
I didnt mean to get you depressed with my cheesy photos inara lol. But it is a shame that he appears to headed out. The thing is, i kinda had it predicted back in the 2nd leg of the Champions League game with Manchester. It seemed the more he had the ball at his feet looking to dribble it by himself into the penalty box, his teammates were getting more and more annoyed.
After the match was over, i was convinced of two things. 1) Lyon are closer to winning a champions league title than people would like to think. and 2) Ben Arfa selfishness might Hurt Lyon in the long run.
Its a shame. A real shame.

TREZEGEUT IS NOT CHOSEN FOR THE INTERNATIONAL TEAM, BUT GOVOU WAS??!!?!!?!! THE SECOND HIGHEST SCORER OF CALCIO IS NOT CHOSEN BUT GOVOU THE CHOCK ARTIST??!! EAT MY SHEISSE DOMENECH OR WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS, DUMB LOSER!

The saddest part is Bodmer not getting a call up. I really feel for him.
Frankly Govou’s near permanent prescence in the NT has always been a mystery to me. Domenech did say leaving out Trezegeut was a tough decision, but you know he (Trezegeut) had a chance to make ammends with Domenech in France’s recent friendly and he screwed up completely. Domenech couldn’t even look at him when he subbed him off. I think at that point the writing was on the wall.

I totally understand Domenech about taking Govou and not Trezeguet.
Govou really works on a pitch, and can add so many things to the team. He’s not “just” an offensive player.
Trezeguet is a wondeful finisher, I agree. But he is “just” that. We already have this kind of player in the NT, and that players (Benzma, Henry…) can also create. I’m sure Trezeguet has never dribbled a player in his entire life.
I’m sorry. Trezeguet do not have his spot anymore.
But I wanna congrat and thanks him for all he did with the NT.Posted from

Seriously Trez has done alot for France as a whole and as a Frenchman i can respect that and even thou he is a great player the inclusion of Govou over him makes sense he could really be an asset because he has the pace and can dribble

Im not sure if that article is very reliable cause i dnt think Nice would let such a talented player leave for only 5 million euro

I just noticed this, from the interviews of the players after Auxerre on OLWeb.
Fred’s first line: “Je suis vraiment très content.”
Ben Afra’s third line: “Je suis vraiment très content.”
The two probably biggest problem childs both decide to state bluntly that they are really very happy at OL.

Pierre, Nice probably had no choice but to accept the deal. Remember, Lloris contract at Nice runs out in 2009, so if they don’t sign him to an extension (obviously they aren’t) then he would be able to leave on a free.

Any credibility to this?
