I think for the left back spot we should sign Michel Bastos,cheap,knows Puel,knows Keita,Bodmer,Makoun and the rest of the Brazillians probably,has a great left foot and has a lot of pace.Also he is eefective on the left wing.-?

Benzema starts in front of Fred. I belive that Fred deserves start in first 11. He was very good against Steaua. His preformances rise in every match. And about Mounier, he played first couole of games good, and then he disepired. On the field he looks like lost animal. Where are you Mounier? Where do you hide? Why Pjanic don’t play. He is also youn, he is younger than Mounier, but he want to play. He want prove that he is for first 11. And for the clean sheet. Yes wde wanted clean sheet, but for Lyon side. We want that Auxerre’s net be full of our goals, but now we must turn second page, and full concentrate for game against Sochaux.

You are obviously a glass half full person.

And yes, I agree, his subs were a little weird. Why in the world did he put in Makoun when his team was failing to score? It was such a Domenech move. Plus then we are playing away at Sochaux in four days, and these players will be too tired after two back to back games to do much.

I just don’t understand the substitutes, why didn’t Puel play any of our rested players such as Fred, Piquonne or Mounier, if it hadn’t been for the second-half cameo of Pjanić, this game would be an out-and-our disaster for Lyon and Puel in particular. I just hope he knows what he’s doing and that he learned a lesson from this.

What a boring boring game. I can’t believe Puel started so many tired players, what was he expecting? Besides Kallstrom and Vercoutre, that’s the team that started against Steaua. At least Pjanic got to play an entire half, so that was nice.

Ray: They wore the yellow kits because Auxerre’s home kits are blue and white (both of OL’s other kit colors), and the teams prefer the jerseys to be as different as possible.

Dennis: I don’t doubt the quality of their youth program, as I said, they’ve produced a lot of terrific players. And they are a very solid team – they’ve held Lyon to draws before (they did so just two years ago in Lyon’s “title winning match”). But it’s been a long time since Auxerre has been a threatening team. So while it’s great that they’ve never been relegated, I don’t see them a top five team anytime soon either.
