Yeah Lyon are terrible at playing defensively. And look how Bayern keep driving at Lyon.

i agree with gog and Pride of Lyon. seems like hes after a draw, but i dunno if we will give a goal up.

A point is looking awfully good right now. And at least it keeps us in the hunt, especially with Fiorentina drawing with Steaua.

That left side continues to bleed. Oddo…grrrrrrrrr

Man, Oddo was almost ours. Now he’s raping us instead.

What does the formation look like now that Boumsong is in?

I think Boumsong and Bodmer switched places.

gotta be relieved to leave with a point…we really didn’t challenge at all in the 2nd half

Benzema looks devastated. He knows he could have won the game for Lyon if he hadn’t messed up on that shot.

Good news is that we’ll have Grosso back for the next CL game against Steaua.
And yes, Lyon didn’t do much in the second half except try to preserve their lead, but that backfired and led to the Bayern goal.

thank god Lloris had a good game today.

I am really disappointed whit our game! First of all i am angry about Puel cause he made big tactical mistakes.Pjanic MUST BE on the bench to replace Juninho when he gets tired. He’s the perfect new playmaker to me.Ok,if he did’t put Pjanic on the bench but Keita and Kallstrom, why didn’t he put them in the game? We played terrible, had not one single 100% chance in the game.Totally disappointing..

Dear grosso please get fit

How did Mounier do when he came on? Maybe Kallstrom should have played instead?

Mounier was pretty much manhandled by Ze Roberto. But he also brought speed and skill onto the pitch, and I think if he was more experienced and on the pitch longer, he would have been more useful.

So here are my match comments:
In the second half, Bayern definitely dominated, but in this case it doesn’t mean much because they didn’t do anything with their domination. Besides their goal, they didn’t really bother Lloris in the second half. I’d say the best football from Lyon was in the first half, and for Bayern, the second half.
Both teams missed a lot of easy chances, and either could have walked away with the three points if things had gone right. So I guess a 1-1 draw is fair.
Puel really messed things up by asking Lyon to defend their lead in the first half, and he miscued with starting Fred and putting Benzema on the left. Also, Mensah was abysmal at LB, and besides one or two good tackles, all he did was consistently foul players and give away cheap fks and throw ins. I’ll be so glad to have Grosso back.

lefutur Mounier was’nt bad. Honestly nobody was really bad, but it was the fact that nobody was really good including benz. Well ok playing our a huge burly paceless LCB mensah at LB was bad idea. It was bad last game and it was bad this game.

Dear lyon managers NEVER NEVER NEVER PLAY BENZ ON THE LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m thinking: if it weren’t for the LB problem, we’d have two wins and possibly have given up (0)goals. Don’t know that I’m terribly unhappy starting off slow. Hopefully we’ll turn it on against Fiorentina and Bayern in the second leg once Grosso’s back.

Lyon show charachter, but when we score first goal we need try to find second, and that will chrushed Bayern. But we are undefeatable. Next matches against Steaua, we must took all 6 points. Does anyone knows how bad was Govou’s injury? I was soo sad when I look him, and he is in big pain.

IF (big if) we get the 6 points against Steaua, we should be in a very good position to qualify, as Fiorentina and Bayern will lose points playing one another. So then it should just be the case of drawing one of our final two games to make it through…
Mais avec des “si”, on mettrait Paris premier de L1
