Yannis Tafer is a very talented forward who I believe is a u-17 international. He and Roman Miguet are both very quick and skilled forwards, much like Benzema, although they dont hold the ball up as well as they lack the physical presence Benzema exerts. I fully expect Tafer to make it to the first team, although I think Miguet will go the way of Gregory Bettiol and sign for a Ligue 2 team. Hopefully in another year Alexander Lacazette and Matheiu Salamand are signed to pro deals, they are both promising forwards/wingers, which seems to be the academy’s specialty.

about the OL-land bit:

the tram that goes to décines is neither old nor dinky, it’s brand new and state of the art. that said, it still won’t handle the crowds OL matches will draw, and neither will the roads to décines or the parking.

i’m sure everyone of intelligence realized from the beginning that the metro would have to go there, but it was never included in presentations of the project because it is a public affair, and one sure to raise controversy.

the metro has already expanded about one-third the way it will have to, and the rest is only a matter of time OL or no OL. the whole area is destined for urbanisation and those who don’t like it should sell and move to bourgoin or l’isle d’abeau, sub-suburban places for people who hate cities (except to drive to and work in) and don’t realize there are other things to do evenings than watch TV. i have a colleague who lives in décines who even complains about the tramway going there, how it’s raised his property taxes… what he and the other hypocrites out east never mention is that the tram has made their house values go up 250%!

and about this forissier fellow: there are always anal-retentives who claim OL is a burden to the city, there’s a guy who sues the city every year because he claims OL doesn’t pay market-value rent for gerland. but the real movers and shakers all agree that if lyon is one of the most dynamic cities in europe, OL and the notoriety they bring is a big motor to its progress. forissier (i had never heard his name before reading it here) moves nothing, and the only thing he shakes is his wee little winky after going peepee.

The 3 main referees always have to be the last to go in the tunnel, at half time.
That’s why they didn’t see anything. But the 4th referee is already in the tunnel when the players come in.
Grosso apologized for what he did. I’m really mad about him. That’s a professional fault. When you already have a yellow card, in such an important game for the title, YOU HAVE TO calm down yourself ! Especially when you have been not so good in the first half (he just did the assist on the goal) and you are the ONLY real LB in the team !!

We can REALLY thank Lloris and all Nice players… who played 10 against 11 during 60 minutes, without Kone and Laslandes, against BORDEAUX !

Pfffff….

Oh by the way, Inara. You know we play Sedan next week, don’t you ? So Grosso and Reveillere will be out for the Nice game, not the CdF game.

And I just read that OM would like to switch Ben Arfa and Nasri !!
Just can’t stop laughing !

According to the main ref, the 4th one saw the slap to the back of the head.
When he was told, the main ref summoned the two captains and the two concerned players and sent Gross off.

Evilo, I read that the fourth referee had “reported it.” I didn’t read he had seen it.

Regardless, I’m sure Grosso did do something though.
