John, I didn’t mean it in a plagiarism way! Sorry, if my remark disturbed you! It is just that Inara often compares things as you did in the first sentence, and as you now share this blog, I first thought Inara had written this post. so I was just surprised to see you were the author.
Since you co-write this blog, I think you have improved a lot your way of presenting things, and I take a lot of pleasure in reading your thoughts.

Hope you will understand what I mean (all very very positive things!).

As for Fred, I already wrote a few months ago that until february I still rated him a better striker than Benzema. Fred can play really well as long as he has great passers. Benzema can create his own goals, Fred needs an assist (in most cases). But I think that when he is in shape, he is a deadly weapon and very realist in front of the goal.

I used to be a Fred fan, but ever since his antics from last summer, when he skipped town during pre-season and didn’t show up until like a month after everyone else, and then started demanding a pay raise (!!!), I’ve had to step back and look at not just his skills (though we’ve seen little evidence of it these days), but his personality as well. I don’t like how he feels entitled to a place at Lyon, that he’s doing the club a favor by sticking around. So while I don’t doubt he could be a great player if he put his mind to it, I don’t believe he’ll ever make the step to becoming a great player because of his nonexistent work ethic.

Honestly, Fred makes Ben Arfa look like Gandhi sometimes.

Pride of Lyon: What do you mean it sounded exactly like Inara? If you mean it sounds like plaigarism, please let me know. I never heard Inara say anything that negative about Fred, nor did I think she dislikes him as much as I do. If you know specifically if she ever used those words about Fred or any other player, please let me know. I’ll retract what I wrote right away.
