I heard about this, and I’m really disappointed. Under no circumstances should OL fans ever say that to players on their team.

I’m hoping Piquionne doesn’t take it too personally and is motivated to prove them wrong.

I’m so sad about what I just read in France Football.
OL’s supporters made a banner : “Piquionne, YOU are NOT welcome” during the Trophée des Champions.
I cannot believe it… What are they thinking about ??
So mad about them.

Bodmer was half decent from what I saw, one bad tackle that led to a yellow. Better for him to work out the kinks in his defence now than halfway through the season when we need him to replace someone.

from what i’m reading OL were timid and didnt play with a lot of confidence. i hope this is something Puel will have sorted out by the time the season starts.

please, no more Bodmer in central defense!

I still haven’t been able to watch the match yet, but apparently, Lloris was phenomenal! After every game, they have a survey on the OL forums for who they think the best player was for the game, and Lloris has all but 20 of the votes (and there are nearly 300).

I saw that too, Jao. It’s a bit depressing..considering Kim is probably my favourite OL player ever ever. Well if anything, he did say he’ll fight for a spot and I hope he does. He doesn’t give up that easily.

How ironic that Macaroni will miss ;p (I insist on calling him that because it’s endearing) A good moral boost nonetheless for the start of the season. That and take OL a peg down. I think that’s good for both teams.
