Jean-Michel Aulas, You Are Mighty!!!!

Jean-mimi, YOU ARE MIGHTY
Marseille president Pape Diouf ranted to L’Equipe about the complicated signings of Zenden and Cisse from Liverpool. According to Diouf, Aulas (who obviously has no real interest in Cisse) submitted a bid just to drag out the transfer and piss him off.
Secrecy is necessary in any operation, but especially in this transfer [Zenden's] because we feared the interest of Lyon, who are eager to replace Malouda. But also because when they are onto us, the competition of the Lyonnais is spread out everywhere, justified or not. For example, while we were carrying out negotiations with Liverpool for Cisse, Rick Parry [Cisse's agent] told me that Lyon had also forwarded him a proposal. Is is right that they complicate our life so much?
Diouf must be wishing he could send Lyon back to Italy, where Aulas would fit right into Serie A.
Aulas (affectionately called Hole-Ass by his haters) has probably pissed off almost every club Lyon have ever dealt with, but honestly, can anyone ask for a better president?

Every president try to do his best for his club. JMA is just one of them… and most talented than others.

He is the man, shady and often decitful, but thats something you need to be able to do to be a club president.

I knew some of his hates called him Hole-Ass too…
By chance our president is very talented and ambitious

I am sitting on the fence on this one.
It is very possible that Aulas did it, in which case this is not very nice, but modern football isn’t fair or very nice, is it?
It could also be that Cisse’s agent made it up to up the stakes and pocket a bigger fee.
Last possibility: Diouf himself made it up, to get back at Aulas for the Ribéry fiasco last year.Anyway, I think it is great Diouf is at the helm at Marseille as he is a good match to Aulas: clever, opinionated and unscrupulous. Too bad he will probably be ousted within two years by Marseille’s irrational fans.

I really like Aulas as Lyon’s president. That being said, I would hate him if I supported another club. He’s like the Del Nido of France - ambitious and creepy, but at the end of the day, the reason for the success of his clubs.

Honestly, that’s very commonplace in all of sports. Diouf just sounds like he’s cranky. Aulas isn’t that bad, and he’s certainly not Lega Calcio bad. Even Pantaleo Corvino would wipe the floor with his ass.
I’d actually love to see him loaned out to a Serie A club like Palermo or Empoli for a year or two. Think you could work this out for us? A reality show too? I’d also pay handsomely to get Bobo Vieri involved.
And I did see that thing about Bolo Zenden, it was a strong rumor for awhile, but I chose to ignore it.

Nothing compares to Palermo or Livorno’s presidents. they are sulforous bastards. who in their right mind fires and coach and then rehires them, or doesnt extend their captains contract…oh wait, jean mimim of course, peace out cacapa, your over the hill anyways, at 24 you looked 84

All I can say is that I’m glad Lyon is such a clean club. Maybe that’s mostly due to strict oversight by the LFP, but I also think it’s the club’s overall attitude. Though I too would like to see how Aulas would fare at a club like Parma.

it would be different. auluas is strictly for profit and wouldnt run a leaky ship, but in the same circumstance, he might try some more dishonest then usual things in Italy, but thats the Italian culture.
