I can answer it John. As a DM, you have to be much more mobile, you have to cover more area on the pitch, and your often on your own. It is a completely different position, having played there before. It requires one to make challenges on your own, while as a center back, you should have atleast another defender to help out.

Is there anybody out there who’s either played or coached and can answer that question: If you can play CMF & CB, why can’t you play DMF? What skills do you need that the other two positions lack? Seems like DMF is a combo of both.

It didn’t have much sense to me either that Bodmer can play both as a midfielder and central defender, but not as a defensive midfielder. However, I guess that a DM needs to have some abilities that are not the ones that defenders need. I assume they also have much more responsibility on their shoulders than the defenders themselves…

Had a ? for somebody. I’m new to the game and never played it. Was wondering how it is that Bodmer, who is an offensive MF, can’t play DMF, but can play CB. It would seem logical to me that he could play DMF, since he seems to have some defensive abilities.

I’m beginning to be fed up with what I read of you.

We have Fred, Benzema and Remy as strikers.
PLUS govou, Keita and DELGADO who can help if we have injury problems.
And Ben Harfa can play as a second striker in 4-4-2.

Can you do something else than criticize everytime you write something ???

Toto, are you thick or wot. Which “big” clubs do you know which only have two strikers? otherwise if we only have two strikers we can only play 4-3-3, as 4-4-2 will be to risky for injuries and plus i feel the attack need freshining up a bit anyway. Anderson and Boumsong are two useless defenders, so yer get a defender but why two spastic ones who shit themselves when we are away to metz or something ? The comments u made are not at all right !
