Mounier is in the squad!! Great, I hope both he and Paillot get on the pitch, they could use some experience, and I think that Perrin should rest a few guys for the Cl clash with Rangers. The Benzema-Ben Arfa axis should be tried out, if it works again use it Perrin, you daft nutter. Rangers central defenders arent use to skillful players, more longball, so Ben Arfa could run circles around them, lets hope he gets the chance to do so.

YOU CANNOT HAVE A PLAYER WHO DIDN’T EXIST WHEN YOU WAS SUPPOSED TO PLAY.
BUT YOU CANNOT HAVE A PLAYER WHO IS NOW INJURED (AND WASN’T WHEN THE MATCH HAD TO BE PLAYED), because our “time machine” is.. hum… broken. Sorry.

I think it’s a stupid rule too. I don’t see the point of it honestly. It’d almost be like saying, “And all the players who were injured when the game was supposed to be held should sit out too.” Stupid.

Lens have the same problem though. Mangane also doesn’t qualify.

Guignol, I obviously know that players aren’t like coaches. I don’t want Guy Roux coming back on Lens’ Bench. I just wanting to underline the stupidity of this rule.

ARA : Bodmer played CB as a 17 year old and in Caen as well.
He then served as a DM before playing AM.
So really, it’s not a big deal for him, as long as he plays.

Jay, Setanta had better coverage last year. They had between 2-4 L1 games per week, and some of them would be rebroadcast if we missed it. Also, they would show some CdL and CdF matches as well. But this year it is crap. Setanta promised us two L1 games per week. TWO. Then they started only broadcasting the matches played on Sundays, so even if there is a huge match up like Marseille-Lyon on Saturday, they won’t show it. And even the matches they do show are not always the best ones. Several times this year Setanta failed to deliver on their promises. All we can watch sometimes is the L1 recap. And it’s not just the French league they are jilting. They also promised one Eredivisie game per week, and we don’t always get that either (FYI, I have Setanta North America, which is probably just Setanta Britain).

Fox Soccer Channel had the best L1 coverage in the states. I wish they hadn’t dropped it for rights to the Argentine league.
