That comment of Fred really made me mad.
I wasn’t one of those who where whistling him when he was subbed yesterday in Gerland, but I really think he has to SHUT his mouth UP about that.
Not only did he not score any goal, and didn’t play well up front AT ALL, but he is involved on TWO of the Lille’s goals !!
On the first goal, HE was the man “fighting” in the box with Adil Rami. He made a mistake, and Rami scored on that free kick.
On the second goal, HE was on the trajectory of the ball, and he hesitated to put his head. That’s for sure what confused Lloris, and why the ball went into our net so straightly.

So I think that’s REALLY unsuitable to say all these things about supporters.

Maybe does he forget he has to be forgiven about his last year behavior.
If he doesn’t score, he must at least close his mouth.

I don’t think the fans will celebrate if Fred scores the next game as well, he has to be on the pitch in order to score, nothing to be pleased about…

Haven’t seen the match but apparently after he was subbed off, Fred gave an interview and layed into the fans for whistling when he left the pitch. He said he didn’t deserve the fans continual contempt; he’s a professional; deserves more respect etc etc and that if he’s scores in the next match he won’t celebrate with the fans.
Obviously fans whistling isn’t nice behaviour but too bad he’d didn’t show that professionalism during all those prima donna tantrums last year, disappearing off to Brazil at the drop of a hat. And as for celebrating that goal, it would be nice to see it some time soon…

Well, Lyon didn’t play well, that’s for sure. But keep in mind of the turnover of the squad. Grosso played after six weeks on the sidelines. Mensah played as a CB for the first time since he left Rennes. Kallstrom played in midfield for the first time in ages. This is Keita’s second game of the season. Ederson’s first start in a few weeks. Etc.

So it could be that the lack of continuity is hurting the team more than we originally thought.

The French League doesn’t look too strong once again. Lille has never been a very good team but Lyon doesn’t look special either. Having said that they will surely win this unimportant league once again.
