As for Ben Arfa missing the squad. Think about it. Out of all the Lyon players (Boumsong over Mexes is ridiculous), Ben Arfa is the only to miss out. Seeing as Domenech is a Lyonnais and Ben Arfa currently on the rocks with Lyon. Knowing Domenech. Maybe, just maybe.

Does Govou have have serious bipolar disorder? Last week he said he saw himself staying at Lyon for the rest of his career, and this week he’s begging Portsmouth to make a bid for him this summer.
And if we miss out on Lloris, who else is available? I’ve heard some rumors about Itandje wanting to leave Liverpool.

Didn’t see the game but Ben Arfa assisted the first goal which Gomis basically created himself though. Half glad Flamini got dropped because he left Arsenal despite him being an unbelievable player. Gomis’ 2 goals were brilliant, he really does look a good young player, very Drogba-esque.

Anyone hear the news about the France squad. Hatem Ben Arfa is only Lyon player to miss out – it’s been a bad few weeks for him. How was his performance last night? The other players that missed out are Landreau, Escude, Mexes, Diarra, Flamini and Cisse. Pleased for Gomis as well, and looks like he deserves it judging from end of season and goals yesterday.

When you have over 20 shot on goal, over 10 corner, posetion over 70%, and you do nothing. Neither of shot didn’t want to go in net, posetion was worth less. Lyon was lack of luck. About Champions League – yes, Lyon have players like Juni, Ben Arfa, Benz and Fred, but you play against team who have Rooney, C.Ronaldo, Tevez, Giggs, you must be careful, because those four players can score you in any time. Tevez was beautifull example. Fred commit mistake, Tevez was on wright place on wright time, and he scores, and that goal cost as quaterfinals.
