It’s funny reading this post after knowing the result. But the game sure was nervy. If Lyon’s attack hadn’t woken up in time, things would have ended pretty bad. Lyon desperately need to buy a CB and sell Boumsong in January.

forget everything i said about Juninho guys okay!! He just played gr8 this match, didn’t dive, was making passes to the wings all the time, dictating the game, stunning set pieces!! from now on i’ll just love him as long as pjanic gets more playing time…benzema is true magic..and fred should come in as a sub more often =)

quit worrying you guys, they’re gonna win. puel’s gonna play pjanic, boumsong’s gonna have a career game at CB(in the good sense let’s hope – a bad one for him would be epic), fred will come on as a substitute and score 3 goals. oh and kallstrom will return to form somehow, too.

proof:

exhibit a) i wore my OL jersey in my floor-hockey game last night, scored 4 goals (with benzema’s airplane celebration every time) and we won 11-2.
b) i ordered the UEFA.com stream 20 minutes ago and the endless repeating loop of champions league music has me all fired up.
c) i am on vacation, sitting in my living room hopped up on about 7 espressos, and if they lose it will ruin my week.

lefutur: It’s not that I have a problem with Keita, and normally I don’t mind him playing, but I don’t want him to start this particular game because as you said, he came back from injury and is out of form. Most players have been unimpressive recently, but Ederson and Mounier are in better form, even though it’s slight.

I also think that some people are being too hard on Keita. He just came back from a long injury but has still managed to create a few chances with good crosses into the box and some decent, if not great runs on the wing.

But as Ush mentioned, noones been really playing great aside from Benz and Juninho so to single him out seems kind of weird.

I definately want ederson to start, in my opinion he was the only player against lille who was able to create anything, benzema HAS to be in the middle, while keita should be kept on the bench, i want to see delgado on the right wing, even though he hasn’t played for months..One of the reasons i think we only score on set pieces is Juninho, he is the one supposed to be the playmkaker, but i don’t see him doing anything else than running with the ball and diving, pjanic is the future number 10, let him play ffs! I dont care if he’s only 18, atleast he can create chances.

well if our team shows up we will win. Been a while since they have so there do for it. Delgado or pjanic hardly play in ligue 1 games it would be a joke to start them in the most importaunt game away in CL.
