I don't think Nilmar will come back (I don't think he even wants to). He won't come back to Lyon to be benched again, he made that clear. Though he does want to play in Europe (Benfica were really interested but due to the mess of his contract situation, they don't even know who to make the offer to).

Its a distinct possibility, and I think in the knockrounds it is a great option because teams like Milan and Chelsea are so strong defensively that it becomes difficult for Lyon to break them down, and they over commit leading to slackness at the back and ultimately goals against. This was not the case against Roma this year, it was just a poor match, the blame rests solely on the players. But in Ligue 1, the 4-3-2-1 (I dont like 4-3-3, we are not Dutch) is very effective because the French teams are not of the quality of Milan so breaking down a team like Auxerre or Rennes is not as difficult, although alst year Valenciennes literally put everyone and there away games bus in fron of the goal (to quote thegreat Vicente Del Bosque).

Maybe will Perrin decide to play 4-3-3 most of the time in Ligue 1, and 4-4-2 in CL ?

Tiago made a good choice and of course i think he did it for sporting reasons purely, which is admirable. Inara, I agree a little about Ben Arfa, he will do well in ligue 1, but in the CL I do worry a little. It depends on what formation Perrin uses though. In the usual 4-3-2-1 there will be alot of emphasis on him beating his man and getting crosses in which he needs to improve, while in a 4-4-2 it wont be the most important thing but still vital, but i anticpate Ben Arfa playing as the shadow striker in a 4-4-2 if Perrin is smart, which i think he is, and having someone like Kallstrom or Belhadj out wide. Not Naturals, but can do the job.

I think he's still earning a bit more at Juventus. In one of his interviews he said financially, the deal was good too. But I don't think it's that much more of a difference. Maybe a few extra thousand at the end of the year. For Tiago, it was never really about the money. He took a pay cut when he came to Lyon, and in fact, Milan offered him more money than Juve this time around. But once again, Tiago chose a club where he could be a starter and contribute. I admire that about him.

I'm surprised he's making less money in Juventus. I guess he really wanted to play in Italy.

I'll be ordering lots of tequila when I go out after work today. Then perhaps I'll be able to forget the image of Tiago in a black and white striped jersey. I will instead fantasize about Bodmer in an OL jersey. The tequila will definitely help.

Tiago already has his own <a href="http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21974" rel="nofollow">thread</a> at the Juventus forum. :(

Inara, the best fix for a broken heart? Tequila. Lots of it.

Until the next day.

Or...um...so I'm told.
