The last incredible rumor (which is confirmed by anonymous people who works for OL, said the newspaper “le 10″) is that ERIC ABIDAL could come back to Lyon this winter.
Even RMC talked tonight about it.

Yes, we do have a buyback clause. And apparently Remy also wouldn’t mind coming back.

A lot can happen, of course, and Remy may choose to go elsewhere. But Lyon at the moment want Remy to come when Benzema leaves.

Ronald, I would have loved to see Remy and Benzema in a 4-4-2 and had Loic as Karim’s replacement last year. Does anyone know if Remy insisted on leaving? I think at that time he was still a full winger and didn’t want to wait behind Keita and Govou for playing time. Undoubtedly his current form would warrant a #1 spot at RW and #2 behind Benz at striker. I also think it was kind of a swap for Lloris. The contracts had like a 500,000Euro price difference, I think. Someone said something about a buy-back clause for Remy. I only hope to God that’s true. Then we can spend the some of the money from Benz’s sale to get a quality striker.

I wish we still had Remy,Benz and Loic could be a great partnership,dont know why lyon had to get rid of him esspecialy when at the time he was getting called up to the NT,he could play on the left wing and also could be the replacement for Fred,although there are rumours Lyon may try and re-sign Remy ?

Yup, if Lyon got a 3-3 draw in Florence, Lyon would have a better head to head record thanks to the the rule C. But, like I said, it wouldn’t matter then because Fiorentina needs to win both it’s games in order to threaten Lyon, a draw in Italy would definetely make us quailify and leave La Viola behind. Please, Lyon, just get that damn point against Fiorentina!
