What really pisses me off about lyon is the fact that they are happy to add are midfielders to the defence to cover (most of are defenders are shit anyway-bar clerc,cris and squillaci)the defence when they should just buy decent defenders instead of guys like Anderson ! Plus it sounds to me as though if fred leaves he wont be replaced– wow lyon will be brilliant- 2 stikers when most bclubs have 4 or 5- and a defence with really only three players and a midfield covering a defencive position lik left back-god, how good are we gonna be !
Aulas and Lacombe spend money on the squad before lyon fc look pathetic !

As far as DM, does anyone know what Sidi Keita of Lens’ status is now? That would be a nice pick-up if, we could forgive him for what he did to Cacapa.

I hope Crosas gets some play time…I don’t really understand the move either and would have rather see him loaned to either a top tier Segunda side like Sociedad or even another La Liga team, as right now he needs game time more than anything else.

He’s not really an attacking midfielder though, the Xavi comparison was pretty accurate although I’ve seen him play pretty deep in a more balanced “Pirlo” role. He can be used as a DM when you don’t need muscle but Fabio Santos he is not. I still think he could be useful and I wish both Crosas and Lyon the best of luck.

Ha Ha not sure about the authenticity of this, but it seems Barca are trying to take advantage of the Crosas loan.
Apparently, they ask to have an agreement to be able to discuss Benzema’s transfert first whenever he wants to leave the club.

If that’s true Crosas can stay home. 

Hmm, apart from the DM thing we ain’t too bad as long as we sign a quality CB. Just day dreaming here but 2 signings I think could be good:

Obafemi Martins from Newcastle – his buy-out clause is only 12 million. He’s an absolutely fantastic player for me. He’s playing 2nd fiddle to Owen and Viduka and the whole club is in disarray. Not cup tied and France is always a good destination for African players.

Richard Dunne from Man. City – this won’t happen but I’d love to see it. He wouldn’t be sold and it would be too much money I’d say anyway but he’s from where I live and a quality CB. Really dominates. Not cup tied either.

It seems to me that Lyon are putting a lot of faith in Delgado to score goals for Lyon. Delgado describes himself as a “striker who can also play on the wings”. He is fred’s replacement and he will let Benzema play as the main striker but also be able to link up with him if the need arises or come on as a substitute rather than Baros. I think he’s a good signing. His goal tally is impressive and the man has incredible poise on the ball.

As for the midfield I think Kallstrom and Bodmer will start playing a greater role and Toulalan is the going to be the lynchpin DM going forward. Of course that makes OL vulnerable in the CL since he doesnt have a backup if Lyon sign Crosas or L. Diarra. I hope the staff knows what its doing.

And yes, OL need a new defender.

Why is it that fred has been forced to leave ? I really hope he stays i think that if hes happy and in hot form he has the potential to be in the top three strikers in the worldb why doesnt perrin play this-

Delgado has signed, they list him as a left winger though. As for Crosas, he simply sees lyon as a stepping stone into the Barca full squad. He should give his all for us, but its a short sided signing that wont benefit us except domestically. And Lacombe talked to Tiago and they discussed a move, Lacombe say Tiago is welcome and if Juve contact Lyon, they would be happy to do business. I loved Tiago, but he isnt what we need anymore unfortunately.
