Although defo Lyon are stupid to pay Portos asking price. As for Eto o-get real,a player at 28 who has just scored 30 la liga goals and won the trble will NEVER join Lyon-last year was our chance for Eto o,last year Barca didnt want him because his form or the clubs form wasnt that good,no other clubs were that interested and Pep didnt like him. This year he is back to being one of the very best, top clubs want him and Ideally Barca want to keep him,and there is no need for us to have two world class strikers like Eto o and Lisandro, because what will happen if we stop the 4-4-2-what your gonna drop Lisandro or Eto o even ?We need a player for back up like that Kleber guy we wanted or Mbokani. We have Lisandro then all we need is a player like Gignac/Remy/Kleber/Mbokani,Bastos,Cissokho and Lucio/Tamas/sum decent CB.

Completely disagree with Grosso being better than Aly-Aly is Fitter, quicker, much younger and more lively than Grosso-Aly is much much better-its true his fee is a bit on the riduculous side, and Andre Santos represents much better value-and it seems no club is really seriously interested in Santos, but in terms of player quality at this stage in Grosso career Cissokho is way better. And obviously management agree with me hence they want to get rid of Grosso and sign Aly. Grosso-Bastos would never develop-Grosso may even retire or be sold next year. Bastos-25,Cissokho-21. That could really develop,He mat have only done well for six months but in those six months he proved his class at 21.

Well, as usual, I am not disappointed by Lyon's mercato. They always buy the players the fans want them to buy. But be careful, all the good things you say about bastos, we were saying the same with Keita. You never know how a player will adapt to a new team.

It is interesting to see this new wave in French football with young coaches in the big teams (Deschamps, Blanc, Puel)...
I don't really want to see Remy back though. I'd prefer us to get Gignac although he is a mercenary (changing clubs at will).

I don't really know why you want to get Cissokho. I'd keep Grosso over anyone else. He didn't have a bad game in the last months. His weakness is that he attacks too much, but combined with Bastos who can play LB, they could make a great pair. No need to spend 19 millions on Cissokho who was just on fire for 6 months. If you want to spend this kind of money, get Eto'o.

I believe on paper the team is just as strong as any other big club in europe (except for the huge clubs like Barca and real), we can get really far..

I especially cant wait to see Bastos-I believe he could be really special,I dont want to jinx the lad but I think if he works hard, shows his confidance and Gels-he could be a key man for us.14 goals and 9 assists will only potentially improve at Lyon. But I wont get carried away yet and till its official-I wouldnt want to jinx the transfer in any way. With Bastos,Lisandro,Cissokho,Gignac/Remy/? and a new CB Lyon should make the the QF and who knows maybe further.

interesting-Faccioli claims Bastos is all but a Lyon player, and it should be finalized by Thursday, also he says Cissokho should arrive. And that Lyon hope to sign one of Gignac or Remy-if not both-sounds uncessary to get both and probably bullshit. Things are really starting to get interesting thank God-I was really conserned/bored after June. And Lisandro will be presented tomorrow.
